Dean of College of Engineering from San José State University visited Taipei Tech

  On Monday, January 13th, 2025, Sheryl Ehrman, Dean of the College of Engineering at San José State University, led a delegation of eight faculty members, including the chairs of the department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Industrial and Systems Engineering. They visited our university for a discussion.

  The delegation was warmly received by Cheng-Kuei Fan, Dean of the Office of International Affairs, Yuan-Lung Lo, Chief of the International Cooperation Section at the Office of International Affairs, Yang-Lang Chang, Dean of the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Chih-Jer Lin, Vice Dean of the College of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Yuan-Jen Chang, Chair of the Graduate Institute of Manufacturing Technology, and Tien-Hao Liao, Professor at the Institute of Aerospace and System Engineering, , among others. The meeting was hosted by Chi-Ching Kuo, Dean of the College of Engineering. It was attended by Hsu-Wei Fang, Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Jyh-Cheng Jeng, Chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, and Yu-Cheng Lin, Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering.

  The two parties exchanged in-depth information about their academic systems and departments. The meeting aimed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This agreement will help promote academic activities between San José State University and National Taipei University of Technology , further strengthening the partnership between the two universities and laying a solid foundation for future collaboration in student exchanges and research cooperation.
