Professor Fang Hsu-Wei, the director of High-Value Biomaterials Research and Commercialization Center, signs a Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) with the National Health Research Institutes(NHRI)
Chemical Engineering Professor Fang Hsu-Wei, the director of High-Value Biomaterials Research and Commercialization Center is participating in the 2024 Bio Asia Taiwan Exhibition from July 26 to 29. During the opening ceremony, Taipei Tech and the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and present research results.
Taipei Tech's Industry-Liaison Dean Huang Sheng-Dong, highlighted that under the leadership of Professor Fang Hsu-Wei, the center focuses on market needs and has successfully patented an artificial tear composition while advancing technology commercialization. Professor Fang is also organizing the “Biomedical Research and Market Win-Win International Forum,” inviting experts from both domestic and international institutions to share experiences in biomedical material development and industry-academia cooperation, thus deepening international exchanges.
This collaboration with HNRI aims to enhance technology development and talent cultivation, promote the internationalization of Taiwan's medical device industry, and strengthen its industrial capabilities.
