Warsaw University of Technology Delegates Visit Taipei Tech to Strengthen Semiconductor and Advanced Materials Collaboration.

        On the afternoon of September 1, 2026, a distinguished 5-member delegation representing Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), Poland, visited National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) to foster international academic ties and joint technological innovation. Hosted at the College of Engineering Meeting Room, the conference was chaired by Prof. Chuan-Ming Liu, Dean of International Affairs at Taipei Tech.

       The WUT delegation featured prominent leaders, including Prof. Robert Mroczyński (Director, Institute of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics), Mr. Mariusz Wielec (Director, CEZAMAT WUT), Prof. Witold Pleskacz (Head of VLSI Design Division), Dr. Piotr Wiśniewski (Head of SEMINSYS at CEZAMAT), and Prof. Romuald Beck (Attorney for Strategic Projects at CEZAMAT). Taipei Tech welcomed the guests with an extensive team of academic leaders, including Prof. Chi-Ching Kuo (Dean, College of Engineering), Prof. Mei-Hsin Chen (Associate Dean, EECS), Prof. Yi-Liang Yeh (Director, Semiconductor Technology Program), along with department chairs from Electro-Optical, Electronic, and Materials Engineering.

        Discussions focused on key future-oriented technological domains, specifically Microelectronics, Photonics, Semiconductors, and Advanced Materials. Both institutions agreed to explore concrete cooperation frameworks, such as joint research projects, faculty academic exchanges, and student mobility initiatives. This historic meeting marks a pivotal moment in connecting Taiwan and Poland in high-tech research and international talent development.
