Delegation from Thailand's King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi Visits Our University to Foster International Academic Cooperation
A 20-member delegation from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Thailand, visited our university on July 9, 2025, for an academic exchange program. The delegation was warmly received by Dean Wu of the College of Design, Associate Dean Lin of the College of Engineering, Dean Fan of the Office of International Affairs, alongside several professors from the Department of Civil Engineering and faculty representatives from the Department of Industrial Design.
Both sides exchanged insights on their respective areas of academic expertise and engaged in discussions on potential collaboration in joint research, student exchange programs, curriculum sharing, and dual-degree initiatives, aiming to establish a long-term, stable cooperative partnership in the future.
Prior to the meeting, university faculty accompanied the guests on a tour of the Center for Precision Analysis and Materials R&D as well as the Smart Textile Technology R&D Center, providing the visiting delegation with a deeper understanding of our research capacity and achievements. This exchange has strengthened the foundation for mutual cooperation and laid a solid groundwork for future internationalization efforts.
