Welcome Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST) to Visit

        On March 2, 2026, the Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), led by Prof. Yoichiroh Hosokawa, Executive Director of the Medilux Research Center and Professor of Materials Science, visited National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech). The delegation, composed of nine faculty and staff members from NAIST’s divisions of Research and Innovation, Information Science, and International Affairs, was received by Vice President Prof. Yuh-Shyan Hwang, Dean of International Affairs Prof. Chuan-Ming Liu, and Dean of the College of Engineering Prof. Chi-Ching Kuo. The meeting, chaired by Vice President Hwang, brought together faculty leaders from both institutions for in-depth academic exchange.

       Discussions focused on future collaboration in materials science, information science, and interdisciplinary research. Both sides expressed strong commitment to launching joint research projects, promoting faculty exchanges, and expanding student mobility programs. These initiatives aim to foster innovation and provide students with broader international opportunities.

       The visit highlighted the importance of global partnerships and reaffirmed Taipei Tech’s dedication to strengthening its international network. Moving forward, Taipei Tech and NAIST will work closely to enhance academic excellence and cultivate talents with global perspectives..
